Five Journeys Into The Books of The Bible

The Bible is an invitation to the reader to first view the world in a new way, and then to become an agent in the service of renewal itself. The Books of The Bible extends this invitation by helping readers enjoy their encounter with the sacred text and to read with more understanding. This is your opportunity for a genuinely new Bible reading experience.

The following five journeys can get you started. We’ve structured the daily readings to follow natural section breaks within the books. Because of this, the length of the readings varies a bit day by day. All of these options will get you reading whole books. Just print a copy of the journey you want to follow, and use it to keep track of your daily progress.

  1 year (312 days, 6 days/week), average 15 minutes/day, all the books in the given order
• The Blended Bible Experience
  1 year (312 days, 6 days/week), average 15 minutes/day, all the books (alternating First Testament and New Testament groups of books)

  48 days, average 30 minutes/day, 27 books

  60 days, average 20-30 minutes/day, 14 books
