Along with the NIV scripture, this Bible has thousands of questions printed in the margins along with the answers. These questions are just what seem to pop into your mind while you are reading. They clarify things like ancient traditions or cultural differences. There are also paragraphs on how the scripture applies to modern day problems, explanations of why the passages are interpreted in different ways, or historical background to increase understanding. This is the most helpful and interesting Bible I have ever owned. I think it is perfect for anyone who has a desire to understand the Holy Bible, from new Christians to mature Christians who are always seeking new understanding. Best for teens and up.
