I find that most prisoners appreciate the larger print. the text is easier understood by the less literate. Final Hours Ministry Harrison, MI 48625

Many of our prisoners cannot read tiny print and this Bible is the only TRULY larger print, inexpensive Bible on the market. Many say large or Giant Print, but they mean 10 point instead of 8 point font! This is in 12 font or so and more legible. Thank God for this edition!

I have been using Free on the Inside for my food pantry families at the food pantry at my church for 2 years and I can't keep enough of them on hand. The people tell me this is the first Bible they have been able to understand.

This Bible meets a real need our ministry to women in our county jail system. They actually read and understand it on their own. Even the husband of the lady who ministers with me has begun using her copy for his Bible study. He says it is so much easier to understand. Thanks, too, for making it affordable.

I've used FOTI since 1995 in Jail and Prison Ministry and was was really excited when the Reader's Version in large print came out. It meets some needs that the NIV did not. The larger print is helpful for two reasons - those without well developed reading skills always favor larger print, and many inmates have poor vision but do not own glasses to correct that. The Reader's Version is also written with language that is easy to understand in a simple, straight-forward way that communicates the love of God without intimidating a new reader. It is a great read for any one wanting a fresh touch from His Living Word, no matter what you reading skill or bible knowledge level is! Willie K <><

The women who participate in my Bible Study at the county jail love this Bible. Many of the women who come to my study can't read well. This "translation" addresses that problem, and encourages many of the slower readers to actively participate. They underline passages; they discuss passages with each other after I leave. These Bibles get read and used alot!
