My children are eight years old. They have a lot of success with this bible. The type should be bigger, and I would really like a hard cover version, but this is the best children's bible I have found.

As a former fourth grade teacher, I know how large the type size should be for a child. It says that this Bible is meant for 6 to 10 year olds, but the type size is too small for a 10 year old, let alone a 6 year old.

The NIRV is written for a child's reading level but the packaging doesn't match. I use approximately 100 NIRV's a year and I tried ordering the children's version but it's only available in softcover. The softcovers just didn't last with the children. So I have to order the hardcovers without the pictures and the helps. Please make a children's hardcover version that's not too expensive.
